JILL SAULNIER
Jillian Saulnier is an Olympic athlete and Team Canada women's hockey player. She first wore the maple leaf internationally as a member of the under-18 national team. She became Nova Scotia's first female player at IIHF World Women's Championship’s, earning Canada a silver medal in 2015. She returned to the worlds in 2016, scoring one goal as Canada won another silver.
However, she was not named to the 2017 World Championship team, which gave her the incentive to work even harder to fulfill her Olympic dream. This dream became a reality in PyeongChang 2018, where she helped Canada win the silver medal.
