My name is Nabi Kibunguchy and I currently play for Minnesota United in the MLS! I was born and raised in Sacramento, California and have played soccer from age 5. I attended UC Davis for college and After playing four seasons for the Aggies, I entered the 2021 MLS SuperDraft and was selected 18th overall by Minnesota United where I still play today! My family is originally from Kenya as both my parents were born there and each came out here for better opportunities. I have a B.A. in Managerial Economics and I care deeply about giving back to the community. I also enjoy listening to podcasts - particularly about financial literacy and investing - as well as listening to a diverse range of music. I also enjoy simple things like playing FIFA, going on walks, and trying new restaurants!
Keep it Pushin’ was founded with the community in mind! We are striving to give back and inspire underserved youths in inner city communities both here in America or abroad in my home country Kenya. We want to help the underserved communities because the odds are often stacked against them and the opportunities are limited. We will be doing things like providing merchandise to communities, hosting free soccer training and camps, providing mental/wellness training, and volunteering in the community!
