A native of Lauderhill, Florida, Rivaldo played both sides of the ball at Boyd Anderson HS… Caught 40 passes for 812 yards and 15 scores as a senior… Earned a dominate performance against Barron Collier in 2019, after catching three touchdowns and racking up 145 yards receiving… On defense, he collected six sacks and 23 tackles as a senior… Received offers from WKU among other schools.
He played in all five of FIU's games as a true freshman... Led FIU in receiving yards with 165 on the year, catching 10 passes and hauling in a touchdown... The 10 catches on the year ranked second on the team... His 16.5 yards per catch average led the nation among freshmen tight ends and ranked fourth overall among C-USA players... His best game came against FAU (11/13), as he caught seven passes for 116 yards and a touchdown... The 116-yard game marked the first time FIU had a true freshman tight end go over 100 yards and ranked as the fourth-most overall among true freshmen at FIU, behind only T.Y. Hilton (199, 145) and Chandler Williams (132)... Additionally, the 67-yard touchdown pass against FAU (11/13) was the second-longest play from scrimmage for FIU in 2020, behind D'vonte Price's 77-yard run.
